The inception phase kicks off a project by determining Scope and Vision, try get agreement between all stakeholders on how to proceed, and sign off on high level deliverables. Inception is broken into 3 phases: Discovery Preparation, Discovery Workshops and Discovery debrief. A UX Design phase is typically kicked off in parallel to the inception phase.
The transition phase consist of the final steps to enable a go to production. This includes the finalization of the implementation, documentation and training, preparation for the release, and product trainings to customer employees.
The construction phase consists out of a number of sprints. For each sprint the work is determined based on priority of the remaining backlog items. The first set of sprints prepare for work to be done during the development sprints. And then a set of final post sprints performed after the development sprints to handle QA and UAT.
The final phase is to Go-Live. This includes the deployment into production and the post production support. Our customers validate the deliverables, using the test plan provided, and the project is officially signed off by all parties involved.
Assisting and training Hiscox team on how to use and develop on the Backbase Portal. Design new look and feel for special pages as well as upgrading the portal to the lastest version.
Amakozi was approached to build Nationwide a prototype application. The application was created with the idea of giving the user the chance of using a friendly interface from where the user can take out a loan and purchase a car in a simple, yet effective manner. This software application got named the Nationwide Bank Auto Loan application.
